New Nomination/Approval Memo format for 2024

This is a friendly reminder that the USCAA implemented a new nomination packet format in 2024. The new packet consists of 2 memos, the first memo is the nomination memo for each individual nominee you are submitting, and the second memo is the approval memo. You can find both the nomination memo and approval memo on the USCAA website www.cavalryandarmor.com under the awards tab.

Please submit nominations in the new nomination packet outline to avoid any delays with processing. If we do not receive the nomination packets in the approval workflow outlined above you will receive your full file packet back and we will not process your nominations until we receive the correct packet.

Your help in ensuring a smooth processing of all nominations is greatly appreciated.

***Nomination Process***

Due to high volume of nominations being submitted and not paid for, the USCAA will hold unpaid nominations for 90 days only. Once the POC receives the approval email from the USCAA stating the award(s) can be purchased, we ask that payment is submitted within 90 days. Nominations will become null and void after 90 days.


Due to high volume and demand of nominations being submitted, the process can take up to 4 months to complete.
