Mission and Essential Tasks

The U.S. Cavalry and Armor Association disseminates knowledge of the military art and sciences, with special attention to mounted maneuver in ground warfare and reconnaissance; to promote the professional development of its members; and to preserve and foster the spirit, the traditions and solidarity of Armor and Cavalry in the Army and Marine Corps of the United States.

Mission Essential Tasks:

  • To promote the professional development of its members.
  • To promote and facilitate the spirit and solidarity of Cavalry and Armor.
  • To preserve the lineage and heritage of the Cavalry and Armor past, present, and future.
  • To support the Cavalry and Heritage Foundation.
  • To support the Chief of Armor and Cavalry & Armor Community.
